Jewellery : Is this silver, silver-plated, or something else? And is there a way to remove the “tarnish”?

I only paid for a grey propagandize dress second palm off Ebay as good as a china heart appeal unresolved upon a side of a dress came seeking really “tarnished” yet we contend “tarnished” given I’m not certain if it even is genuine china in a initial place – we disbelief it, given a a propagandize skirt. Most of a strange china colour upon a heart appeal has ragged good off, withdrawal an nauseous reddish lead colour all over a charm. Is it probable which we can gloss a appeal until a china again with a elementary clean of a china gloss (I do not have which as good as would substantially have to buy it from a shop)?? we have a same thing occur to a prime “silver” ornament on a arm watch of cave (has nauseating value, yet it was only a poor watch) – a strange china colour of a watch had ragged off as good as right away a often an nauseous pink-metallic colour. Is it probable to revive a china colour of a watch again? |

I work in a Jewellers, The pink colour sounds like a base metal…not valuable. Like you say…the silver colour may not be real silver, there is no instant fix for this.
You could have it Rhodium (same family as platinum) plated for £30+ This kind of metal plating is used on white gold to make it whiter lasts for minimum 1yr . Take it in to a shop, not with the skirt, and they will send it away for you.
